France 3 is the countries only truly regional broadcaster offering local news and special programmes in a number of regions. This is the headquarters of the Alsace Region. It is located about a mile from the centre of the North east City of Strasburg and is only a short distance away from the European Parliament. The impressive mast on the roof is probably only there for communication purposes although there might be a digital TV antennae towards the top.
 

This mast dominates the building and is illuminated at night. There a number of communication aerials and microwave dishes on and around it.
