Freeview HD

The current HD transmissions from the Litchfield Transmitter are not available in most of the East Midlands. This is because the radiation of the signal is restricted in a northern direction as it is on the same transmission frequency as Channel 5 from the Nottingham Transmitter (Ch. 34). This is be rectified when digital switchover occurs and the channels are changed and the power increased.

Other Ways of Receiving HD Channels

HD is available from Sky TV, Virgin Media (in some places) and Freesat.
